Gajala Biography

Gajala is a south Indian film actress who started her film journey in 2001 and worked in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages. Worked with almost all leading young actors - Dileep,Jiiva, Arjun Sarja and Jr. NTR as heroine, she later added several item numbers to her portfolio. She stole the heart of the audiences with her power-packed performance in Ameer's Raam, opposite Jiiva. She played lead roles along with NTR Junior in Student No. 1, O Chinnadana, Allari Ramudu. She was early engaged to actor Telugu actor Allari Naresh in 2010. But the declared marriage was called off.

Gajala was married prior to entering cine industry in 2001. She even attempted suicide in 2002, after doing a few successful movies with many leading actors. She made her debut through Telugu film - Nalo Vunna Prema followed by Student No.1. She shot to fame after doing Student No.1 opposite Junior NTR. She lived in Muskat before her foray to films. She has been one of the top heroines by mid 2000s. Due to wrong selection of movies, she slowly slipped out of main frame. After doing a series of movies in all south Indian languages except Kannada, she moved to item numbers and was quite successful too.

In 2010, her marriage with Allari naresh was declared, though they kept the affair secret for many months. They together worked in a few movies and love blossomed between the two. They worked for the first time in Thotti Gang and fell in love while doing their second film together, Rambabu Gadi Pellam. The marriage was to happen with the blessing of Naresh’s family. But the marriage was called off and Naresh got married in March 2015.

She was last seen in Telugu film, “Money Money, More Money" and "Durai" in Tamil. She took a break from the industry to complete a course in interior designing. She spent the last few years in Muscat. Earlier the actress has never dreamt to stay in the industry for a long run. Now the actress is planning for a comeback.
